Yes. I'm going to buy a Pink Floyd CD, as I don't have any of those ones. But I only have enough cash for one. So which one should I get?

The Wall is a great album, and has some good tracks. Meddle is decent, and Animals is self explanatory
I'd go with The Wall personally

Is Meddle decent as in average, or decent as in Well Good?
I'm plumping right now for Animals, but that's only because I've been told that The Wall is a bit juvenile and pretentious.

I don't think The Wall is juvenile as such. Not heard much off Meddle, but what I've heard it's average compared to their other stuff. Animals is great though, so go with your instinct if you feel that's the best, I'm only voicing my opinion that I think The Wall is more value for money
Shop around for the wall if you decide that as some shops seem to think they can get away with charging £30+
All 3 are fantastic albums in my opinion, so win win situation.

If you're going for something in the sale then The Wall would be the best buy in monetary terms as you'd save the most money, probably.
However, Meddle and Animals are much better albums than The Wall. Animals is more Floyd-y, Meddle has a lot of acoustic bluesy stuff on it, but it's worth the price of the album just for first track (One Of These Days) and the final track (Echoes), whereas Animals is consitently better than the tracks between, but not as good as these two.
The Wall is okay, has some great tracks, but it drags on and doesn't have enough of the instrumental flair that put Pink Floyd in a position to release such a record.
