Hello music forum, long time no see.

I guess this is suited here, basically I've seen a few deals around (namely RealRhapsody and Yahoo! Music) which charge a small monthly fee for unlimited music downloads from their collection.

However both of these are only available in the US. Me being somewhat distanced from this area of the world, and only having a UK debit card, this isn't really feasible. I've been on iTunes and got a few nice rare tracks but it soon adds up, and I'm just wondering, is there a subscription-download service for the UK? I've looked at Napster but as far as I can see their monthly fee service is only if you have a "compatible" mp3 player (which I don't).

Just to check, you are aware that once you stop paying, you'll loose the music right?

Just checking that you are aware.

I am aware, and I am also aware of ways around this ¬_¬

You do need a compatible MP3 player, unless the DRM mysteriously disappears between them being downloaded to yout PC and uploaded to your player.

But that would be stealing. And as we all know, home taping interweb piracy is killing music.

I see no point whatsoever for paying for an inferior product. I wont pay for downloads until you get a proper file with no strings attached.
