Hello all, now we have had quite a bit of natter around here about FM. I have had an idea. Lets compete.
No, not in a network game. We all play as the same team in FM'05 and see who does best. :)
At the moment I am Aston Villa and I am only just into the start of my first season. We can choose another team if people think that it is too easy.
What do you think?

Yeah, sounhds great.
There is one slight problem. I don't do it because it totally ruins the point of the game, but I know some people do...and thats getting to a difficult cup game, saving, and replaying untill you win....but as long as it's the members that are known and trusted that take part, it won't be a problem.
Villa would be alright :) Either that or we could go with a small team from the Championship or lower?

How about taking a Conference North or South side to the Champions League title? We did that on the FM forum I go on.
At the moment on FM I'm Notts Forest, two promotions in two seasons.
I probably won't start anymore games now though, not until FM 2006.

Grrrrr. i was half expecting a network game.
Only problem is, some people have official patches installed, so it would be a bugger, everyone would need to either have the patch installed(its free) or turn their patches off.
But im up for it, and i vote for Boro' cos they always seem to get relegated on my game(im them now, but ill start again)

any team is fine as long as it's not one of the very top teams (eg pool, man u, arsenal, chelsea, etc). villa sounds fine

£14.99 is still not a bad price though. Inicidentally you could've got PES5 for that much from HMV until today when they noticed their mistake and went up to 29.99. :(
Still I think once the purchase has been agreed they're legally bound to sell it to you, so at least I've got me some cheap PES5 action. :D
