I didn't write this but I feel you should be warned if you're asking for one for christmas;
Hello everyone. I'm here to warn you against some cheap knock-offs of the Sony PSP. If you are looking to purchase one, or are younger and are begging mommy and daddy for one, make sure you or your parents have this information handy when shopping online.
We begin with the POP Station, which is probabley the most popular and the closest knock-off.

A note to all the parents in the house: Sure, maybe you’d save a few bucks by buying your kid a POP Station Value Pack instead of a PlayStation Portable, but you better be prepared for the look of crushing disappointment you’re going to receive when you give them this junktastic knockoff.

Next we'll take a look at the GM-219 while it doesn't look exactly like a PSP, it's close enough.

Although this is NOT a PSP, GaoMing’s GM-219 portable game console is the only one that comes with 37 games built-in, is compatible with GameKing game cards, and sports a “Super-glare imitate color screen”.
Next we'll take a look at the Leveno Cellphone, which was the first PSP knock-off and actually appeared before the official PSP was released.

Not much to say here.....I'm pretty sure you won't mistake this for a PSP......I hope.
And finally, we have the unknown chinese knock-off of not just the PSP, but the Nintendo DS as well!

Of course, the only thing that surprises me about this is that it’s taken this long for the first Nintendo DS rip-off to appear. Note that the DS clone actually improves on the original by allowing you to play two entirely different games at the same time (football plus Street Fighter!).
