How do I see what updates it's downloading? I know you can see it when they're finished, but I'm an impatient little shit. Or can't you?

It depends on your Security Center settings (if you have SP2).

I think it tells you what updates it recommends and then you select which ones you will allow it to dl. Or if you have it set to download and install in Security Center, it'll just do it yourself.

Basically, check your Security Center settings first to see if there's something there that will allow you to review what it wants to dl before actually doing it.
