Jazz... mmm nice!

I love listening to drum & bass, especially the really jazzy funky stuff like e-z rollers and would like to hear more jazz. however, other than sun ra (who i discovered by accident) i don't know what is decent and what is poop so i would appreciate some guidance in choosing what jazz to buy.... daddio

Jaga Jazzist is very good. I don't have any albums myself, but my housemate does, and so I hear it quite often.

I listened to an amazing miles davis album on holiday, it was just nice music and luvley to listen to. so ah second Poofbird's recomendation I guess.

miles davis is really great for some nice realaxing jazz, and its much harder to play than you would think

also loius armstong, duke ellington, and lee morgan are also very good

Miles Davis, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong are my favourites. If you like Jazz it might be worth checking out some Early Blues, which is quite similar, such as Leadbelly and Mississippi sheiks.

count basie and duke ellington are great. charlie parker, thelonius monk and dizzy gillespie are all worth listening to as well.
