recently ive been frequenting some downright distasteful student hovels parading
as discotheques and each time i have been faced with the same old unanswered question, as well as a sense of extreme self debasement.
why do these places seem intent on playing the same old rubbish?
does anyone really like this stuff?
i could spit venom 500 miles when i hear the opening riff of bryan adams, and 500 more when bon jovi predictably follows suit living on his bloody prayer. this hateful stuff should be thrown on the burning pyres of hell where it belongs, along with the poncho.
most of these songs are older than the people in these places and i have a horrible feeling that by the time this curse is over i will be too old to get out of my chair by the fire let alone drink flourescent wkd all night.
does anyone out there really feel there night has ended on a high with the closing chords of come on eileen?
i am having this rant because i might have to go to the union tonight
