I know there was a thread on this, but I can't seem to find it, so I've made a general for talk of how you're getting on etc.
This came out last friday, and sounds amazing. I'm getting it tomorrow, and I also can't find out what the specs of the game are. Anyone know them so I don't buy it and come home disappointed?
Use this thread of help, talk of your success/failures etc

I havent got it, I'm quite happy with my 2014/2015 season in FM2005 at the moment. But when I finish the game I may 'acquire' FM2006.
As for requirements I'd say it would run on a 1.5GHz with 512MB of RAM and a good graphics card probably wouldn't be necessary.
But as usual, the faster the better.

That's ok then... thought my new laptop wouldn't be able to run it... but it can easily :)

I got it on Friday, and have been playing it solidly all weekend - it's good, but not sure how much of an improvement it is on 2005. My only concern is that there does appear to be a huge amounts of goals being scored. I've had a few 4-0/6-2/3-0 wins/drubbings. Not sure if this is realistic? Maybe it's just my cavalier tactics! Anybody else found this?
Apart from this, the new features are good - I like the team talks, and it's much more involving than the last one (media wise). I wasn't too sure about the new training options, but it's growing on me, and it allows you to be a bit more flexible. I haven't used the new "quick tactics" - I find the game goes too fast, but I guess that depends on what speed you play it at.
My worry was that they'd take a good thing and ruin it (like Champ manager IMO), but they haven't, so I'm happy.
I'm Barnet, and I'm currently 10th in League 2 with 20 games gone. Grazioli is a god - 21 goals in 15 games.

I have to wait till November to get it, shame really, but good things come to those who wait.
Is the Match engine still the same? With the 2d players and the commentary at the bottom with the oh so many exclamation marks?

My FM2005 save corrupted when the power cut right as I was saving.
I either go back half a season to my last save (another file) or start fresh with 2006.
