I have a Belkin54g router (According to my wi-fi card. I think it's actually a 100mbps one tho')...it's served us well for about 2 years...but now it's just decided to start acting up waaay more than usual, like we leave it on for days...which isn't the case. If it plays up (disconnecting from internet, slow internet connection, 'fake' internet connection, unworldly fast speeds, no data being sent/recieved), I usually reset it and leave it cool down for a while. But recently it's got too bad to do that, it screws up after about an hour on the internet...and it's been connecting to my comp at around 2.0mbps with a low signal strength...I dunno what's up with it, I haven't moved my comp or the modem or the arials, I think it's time to get a new router - but my dad reckons there's still some life left in this router.
How can I improve signal strength somehow, or fix the fuck-uppage?
