After days of talk about malpractice David Blunket has resigned. How do you all feel about this?

Personally I think he has been given too much negative media attention but...

Well I'm not going to lose any sleep over him.

But I will say that I admire him for overcoming his disabilities to become such a prominent governmental figure, but equally dislike him for blowing it all in such a silly way. Fast-track your lover's nanny's visa? Getting around the system when you're Home Secretary? Whoops.

Thank bloody God. Not that I hate Blunkett, but I just despise all the media. Naturally, they were always going to be all over him but still... nyurgh...

So who bets that in a few month's time Blair will somehow find a position for him sitting somewhere else in the cabinet and we'll have Blunkett back for a third time this year after resigning? :D

Oh.
I thought he'd already resigned...

He did, he resigned as Home Secretary about six months ago. Then he came back (as Work and Pensions Secretary), and has resigned again. I really don't care why. But he is a good source of satire for Private Eye, I'll miss that...
