Had any strange dreams recently? Share them with everyone for humour/strangeness/wtf-factorness.

I had a really deep sleep last night and had this dream:

First of all, I'm sitting in my house when a man with an overgrown ostrich (think the size of a house) came in and started wrecking the house. So we jumped into a taxi which was a Mercedes convertible and went looking for JK Rowling. We went to her house - which was strangely a set of modern appartments - and when we opened her door there was a pile of scaffolding. So we went back outside and my dad shouted "WAIT! We have to check out first!" So we erm...fed a machine scraps of paper and it printed a receipt. Bear with me here. Next thing I knew we were on a wooden Stagecoach bus with my little brother at the wheel making spitty bus noises. Later, we were in a casino in the middle of the countryside playing poker against Madonna. After that I was on my PSP and found a wireless hotspot run by the Chief Exec of Electronic Arts, who was called Gavin for some reason. Cut to a Glasgow back street where an opera starring dogs is being filmed. A fat German man is chasing me, calling me Sebastian and throwing sausages at me. It's not over yet. I'm on MSN when two people I know come on asking me whose hair they prefer. Following that, I took a quick Easyjet flight to Bristol to stay at a friend's house. The house was situated in the middle of a Morissons car park. The lone bedroom in the house was a very long corridor lined with hundreds of beds. Pete Doherty came to visit, carrying a large black coffin. I slapped him and told him to quit the drugs. 2 seconds later, I pick up a newspaper which has a headline about him quitting that very second. He changed into a happy clown and walked out the house. The 'next morning' I woke in this friend's house to discover that a person from my chemistry class was also in this house having breakfast in bed. I decided to have a look inside this coffin, and inside was that Howard man out of the Halifax adverts. He said "Hello" and vanished.

Then I woke up.

How about that? :p

Ok, that beats every weird dream I've ever had in my whole life! Thats the most weird and amazing dream I've ever heard of! You are my new hero!

Will post a weird dream too as soon as I get one and can remember the whole thingy. Think its alittlebit lame to end a dream that you had several years ago.

After playing too much Eternal Darkness my head was full of random gibberish and an IRC conversation that wouldn't stop. It ended with me feeling as if I was falling, then waking up feeling as if I my heart had exploded all over my room.

Crisp sandwiches are a bad idea.

I had a dream recently where I woke up and it was Christmas day.

My family had decided to give Christmas a miss and there was a farty tree with two bits of tinsel strewn on it by my little sister.
We stayed in the living room the whole day of the dream, feeling cold dark and blank. The Christmas thing in the dream was my dad's idea so I was constantly blanking him out in the dream, and I wrote a 19-track album against him.

That's just one of my dreams.

I've heard about that - but I prefer waiting to see what comes along. :D

Sometimes I do make choices though. I don't seem to need to learn that - I always am aware when I'm dreaming. I always find I say to myself at least once in nearly every dream "I'm dreaming. I know I'm dreaming." Sometimes I even decide when I want to wake up. Sometimes, my dreams even end up being timed with certain events.

Once in France on holiday, I dreamt I was in a bad mood. I slammed a door, and the moment the door slammed I woke and there was a thunderclap. Weird, huh?

Sometimes, when something really interesting is gonna happen, I seem to wake up to. Stupid bad timing...

Me too :) there's a great thread with some mp3s etc. on the Garry's Mod/Facepunch Studios forums here: http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=37836

I don't really get many weird dreams, just every-day dreams :( Alas.

VERY WEIRD

Anyways, It's time for another am I normal question.

Ocasionaly in my dreams I see a place, it's still and quickly goes away. But a week or so later I see or am in that place and it feels like I know what's going to happen next.
When this happens time seems to slow down for a couple of seconds and my head feels weird. One time this happened in a school playground and I avoided taking the blame for something I didn't do.
I know I'm not supernatural or anything, and that it's probably to do with my subconscious and timetable, but the whole feeling and knowing what's about to happen is starting to freak me out.

Has anyone else experianced this?

I swear to God, I am not making this up

When I sleep I live out the life of a guy called Norman, in 1986. In the last month he got married to his long term girlfriend Sharon, in a really big church in Sheffield. Norman and Sharon had their honeymoon in Blackpool - which they both really enjoyed, Sharon had never seen the Tower before.

Last night, Norman (who works in a bank) got a paper cut from an envelope. He and Sharon ate a pizza and talked about interest rates, Sharons mum (Rhona) and how she had bought a lovely vase from Normans cousin, James.

YES! Finally someone who has the same as me! Everytime i get a dream like that and it happens in real life, I begin to hear really weird voices, and my stomach feels like it's turning upside down... And i get kind of dizzy when it happens... I once had two experiences like that in fifteen minutes and that was the worst experience I've ever had.

Once I dreamt about myself being in school and i was in Maths class. I opened my maths book, and i saw a picture of a ferris wheel. We had to do an assignment with that wheel. A week later I was actually in the class, and I saw exactly the same ferris wheel, in exactly the same surrounding in class. I had to go out of class so I could cool down a bit...

When I came back, I went back to the book, and then I heard the teacher saying that we had to do an assignment, and he had exactly the same voice as in the dream. And then I had the most intense feeling of dizzyness and stomach-turning-upside-down-ness that I fainted!

I'm glad to read that I'm not the only one who has had these experiences!

I've had dreams where what happened in real life the next day seemed to "mirror" it, though that may just be moot. I do sometimes get a sense of dé-já-vous from things in dreams :-/

I had apretty strange dream this night. I dont remember everything, but the most important things are still in my mind.
What I remember that happened first in my dream was that I was in a room that loked like a combination of my room at school and my old room at school. I had lots of girls and suddenly everywone disapeared. One was left. That girl transformed into another girl that I know and lives next to me. We ran out on the balcony and suddenly there where 3 more girsl. We went back in becouse nothing special hapened outside. And now it was me a boy from my class when i was in 7th-9th grade. And the girl had become a girl from the same class. We jumped into bed and when we got there I was a japanese dude and mob of gangsters started to chase me and another japanese dude around in a hospital. Some things happened while we was running. we took the elivator twice, one time down and saw lots of people chasing us, so we went back upand contiued running. After a while i was thrown out through a window and made my way down by smashing the other windows and grab on and jumping down to the next. I did this on 4 floors and then came down to the ground. I ran out on the road and. Woke up.

actually, i dont know if i should be comforted or what, but pretty much exactly the same thing happens to me as happens to pinky and MichealJackson, though sometimes its more like daydreaming of something fairly dull happening and it happens a few moments later....hmm, odd...

for some reason i dont seem to be dreaming at all for the last two months are so, while before that i was having really intense dreams. so im wondering, does anyone else have dreams where something, say, heart breaking happens, and when you wake up you just cant shake that heart broken feeling. or if someone you know dies, and you feel it just as intensely as if they had died in real life? used to happen to me. went around feeling shittty all day even thought there was nothing but the dream i had to make me feel shitty, twas really weird.

Last night my dream ended with my best mate coming up to me in the pub telling me she was pregnant, and that it was mine.

I almost shit a brick when I woke up.

I had a really strange dream this morning. I started off in some sort of cafe, it was all blue and white plastic, and there was one of those claw-machine things there. It had two claws, one made of black rubber gloves, and the other was just a normal one. Now, for some reason I decided not to use it, but suddenly someone from my school was there and he won some bouncy balls I think. Yes, anyway, after seeing that I thought "Hmm, maybe I'll have a go" so I looked at the prizes, but there were none I liked. When I was closely inspecting some pokemon toys in the corner of the machine, the claw went off and I was suddenly on a castle in the Jackie Chan cartoon. I was sent inside the castle to look for something, and then it all became real and I was hiding from some Italian soldiers. Looking for a way out, I decided that I had to climb up this white, metal frame set in the wall, however, it turns out I was wearing very slippy shoes and for some reason I was carrying a copy of Mervyn Peake's "Titus Groan" in my hand, which made climbing difficult to say the least. Then I got really worried that I'd fall and die, because I was falling asleep....and then I woke up.

Another dream I've had was when I fell asleep afer my alarm went off, but in the dream I knew I had to wake up, which is a rewally strange experience.

Yes this has happened to me before but only a couple of seconds happens. for example i dreamt that i was standing in the playground in primary 6 and my freind walked past em and said hello then just kept walking. a couple of months after this dream it actually happened. it is a bit weird but i enjoy it when it happens.

pity it has only happened twice.

this thread is interesting becausei want to know how this happens(your dreams being real i mean). i don't feel dizzy when it happens my stomach just turns a little but i like the fact that i knew it would happen.

I had another one - a bit shorter though.

I was shopping in Somerfields, and they were selling buses on the shelves. In little compact boxes. I bought one for the princely sum of £11.99, and opened it up outside. For no reason whatsoever a bus just popped out this tiny box. Then Saddam Hussein pushed me over, nicked the bus and drove it headfirst into a wall.

:p
