I've got a lot of video files on my computer, and I wanna burn them to DVD. Unfortunately, whenever I try, it ends up only working on the computer, and not in DVD players. Is there some program/disc/something I need before I can burn a DVD that will play on a DVD player?

Yeah, you need DVD authoring software to magically turn it into a DVD player compatible format. It's all horribly complicated. Nero can do VCDs and possibly SVCD's - but if you want to do real DVDs I suggest you get your hands on a copy of Roxio. The DVD authoring licenses for some video filetypes are restricted, which is why Nero doesn't have them; Roxio does (because you pay for it).

Ah, OK.
I'll give them a look.
Thanks.

Yes, Roxio = Teh Win.
If you can get it, Roxio Easy CD Creator is a very useful tool, as it can burn any type of CD and has a few useless bits and pieces as well(EG. CD Cover maker).

Nero has a lovely program called 'Nero Vision'. That's what I use, version 4 does everything I need it to.
