:)
need I say more? probably not. but seeing as this is an interent forum I should avoid the flaming and write somethign worth while. ;) :p
does anyone else think they are just damn great, awesome, cool, schweet or all of the above? I love em so much. they are by far my favorite band ever. the ay they put together music and can cram so much different stuff onto one little 12 cm diametre circle thingy is amazing! :nana:
the lyrics are astounding. they sound perfect and make no sense while making every bit of sense.  :D every bit of the music ties in perfectly with every other part. man i cant wait for the new cd next year. Oh and I get to see them next year in january when they hit the shores of Aus. HOPEFULLY they will stick around for the Big Day Aout. who knows.
anyways. Queens of the Stone Age= :nana:
so now comes your chance to say something. and no flaming or pointless cristizim. :D
I've got their last CD, Songs for the Deaf, and I think it's pretty good!
Btw, their latest video clip (for First it giveth) is a pretty nice summary of the band's behaviour. Check it out. ;)

all three albums rock, but Rated R (their second) is the brilliant best i think. go buy it, childs.

the next cd is going to rule. theyremaking all the music much more simple with a better sound to it. but knowing them that could mean anything. :p
I'll keep that in mind. ;)

You can't really go wrong with any of them, but Rated R or Songs For The Deaf are highly recommended.
Can't beat the guitar duo of Josh and Troy. It's just a modern day classic.

Rated R got them noticed. You can't release a single with the words 'Nicotine Valium Vicodine Marujuana Exstacy and Alchohol.... c-c-c-c-COCAINE!' over and over and fail to be noticed :P
'Lost Art of Keeping a Secret' won people's hearts and soul though. Magnificent song.
Songs for the Deaf isn't as immedeate, but it's a damn fine album, one of the best rock records made. It's a little hard to listen to in small chunks though, due to the 'radioshow' nature of the presentation, but it's awesome to just stick on and let it wholly wash over you.
Can't wait to hear the track Josh Homme did for UNKLE, and also new QOTSA stuff. Especially tracks with Mark Lanegan on them :D

i prefered kyuss (josh and nicks old band) to queens of the stone age, but they still rawk. i have all 3 albums... rated r is probably the most varied album, songs for the deaf is the most nu-metal-yet-different one and the self-titled one is the most stoner-rocky.
their new album will probably be really great, especially if they do decide to make a triple album.

I really like the song 'Regular John' from their first album. But that's about it.
