Sega Megadrive and Sonic The bloody Hedgehog?

A bloody brilliant game back when the sega megadrive was the 'hip' thing to have :) i had one anyone else? And possibly the best platform game providing hours of entertainment...but did anyone ever complete it?

I came sooo close, i was on the last level you no that plane one but i could never defeat the last baddy!! ah, memories, did anyone ever do it? And what other games provided you with entertainment back in the day?

I never played the Mega Drive one, but Sonic for the Master System was great!

I must have completed it at least 15 times...

But then the controller broke and I can't get another one :(

i was still playing up to about 2 months ago. a fantastic game, one of the best.

i finished every sonic game on the megadrive except 3 (damn those bloddy barrels)

Wasn't keen on sonic 1, addicted to sonic 2 but could never complete it dam the last level!! And sonic and knuckles that was evil i couldn't do that! i loved street fighter that game rocked :)

I used to have a sega game gear... it was soooooooo cool untill i dropped it :O(
it used to take 45 mins to finish sonic.... never finished wonder boy though :O)

the game gear was way much better than the b/w game boy


wot about the classic spectrum 48k... still ahve mine :O)

I could complete it with easy. Hyper Sonic was cool. Too bad they didn't make a number 4...

I recently got Sonic Mega Collection...they kept everything the same, even the loading times!

Sonic 1 was alright...
Sonic 2 was good, last boss was pretty hard (the huge Robotnick thing, not Metal Sonic)
Sonic 3, good but was far to short
Sonic and Knuckles, that was good. I love the bit when your Super Sonic, flying through the cosmos, chasing Robotnick and bashing astertoids out of your way...and it introducted Knuckles, the best video games character ever (apart from in the recent games).

Yes Sonic was great.
Hyper Sonic & Knuckles look kick ass.
Only bad thing about it was that crapy 2 tailed fox Tails.
Super Tails looked dumb with those little birds flying around:mad:

I played Sonic so much on my Gamegear.

Sega was actually quite a head on Nintendo at that time,
as the Gamegear was already in color, something Nintento only realised many years after that.
