Now we all may be aware that Christmas has come and gone, and even New Year, now we look forward to the next annual event...

But the shops beat us to it.

News Years Day. Around 4 months before the actualy Sunday: Easter Eggs!!

A Co-op in Bristol already has Easter Eggs on sale. On the 1st OF JANUARY!

Anyone else seen this ridiculous decision around their parts?

yep, Valentine's Day is sooner than Easter, I've seen them arriving and coming out - For the one you love...

For the one you love...Because if you don't get one for someone you cannot have a heart/soul/mongoose/caring hair in your body. And they will desert you in droves! SO BUY A CRUDELY DECORATED HARDENED PIECE OF PAPER FOR WAY TOO MUCH MUNEH!

Well luckily I don't have anyone I love and I can't afford any romance this year, so any bets this year I finally get a Valentine's Day card :) Though last year I was nice to a few ladies in the Beeb, I got them roses for them. This year they can sod off, it cost me quite a bit for them and I only did it to cheer them up...

I really should say something to them...I still think its ok to have them up for the 12 days of Christmas, but to have them up after that is a bit much really. I think it depends on when you put them up. If it was November, then let the flaming commence.

btw its my 5,464th post!

The latest I've ever seen Christmas decorations up was March.

As for Easter, around here they tend to go nuts for Valentine's Day before Christmas. If you don't buy your loved one a card, then you really hate them and you deserve be dumped before dying a slow and painful death you cruel bastard.

btw I have some number of posts beween 100 and 5464

There were Creme Eggs in a corner shop near us before the Christmas hols. Fact.

Though of course it's possible they were leftovers from last year...

I was at work all of yesterday and I kept on looking across to this box of Mini eggs at the end of my till, and thinking nothing of it. It wasn't until the end of the day that it finally clicked in my head "Eggs?! Easter already?! Thats ridiculous"

As for Valentines day, stick it to the man and make your own card. Far more romantic than just going to the shop and buying one

Hmm, the first valantines day I'll actually have a girlfriend and i'm away in france.

And I think it's good that easter eggs are on sale now, as i don't have to wait til easter to buy one and eat it, I can do it now.

Ah, the seasons of marketing - Easter (Including Valentines month), Summer stuff, Christmas (Including National Excuse to Let Off Fireworks month).

Luckily my Christmas choccy stash lasts until easter, which then gives me enough to last until they start selling christmas stuff again. Oh yay, artery clogging goodness all year round.

Pfft, that's nothing. Our local RSMcColl's newsagents has had both mini eggs and creme eggs available to buy since mid-November.

And I have been buying mini eggs by the sackful, as they taste so good...

Bah bumhug, I say. Easter's rubbish; it's just a load of chocolate and then you're sick. And it costs loads! Valentine Day's good, it doesn't cost a penny becasue luckily, no-one loves me.

Creme eggs are no longer manufactured only at easter...There's too high a demand for them. Or maybe that's just for people who live near Cadbury factories. I don't know, but you can definitely buy creme eggs from the local newsagents all year, and buy fresh boxes from the cash and carry...

I'm not complaining - I LOVE CREME EGGS!
Maybe that's what I should ask out for Valentines Day? I have no luck with humans and love is overrated. :P Besides! I'm a blinking teenager who has too many video games! :)
