Gay marraige. It's a hell of a thing, ain't it. What other simple commodity on Earth could be blasphemous and a human right at the same thing?
Opposed by churches, goverments around the world and the homophobic Joe Bloggs (I hate him, I do), it is a thing that has seen many set backs into coming a reality.
Thankfully, however, it has come to be legal in Britain (with Largs being one of the first places legalising it) and we all saw Sir Elton Johns marraige to...that guy.
So, why all the set backs? Why all of this commotion? Are the parents to blame? Is Canada to blame? I found out why (with the simple help of an essay I done last year).
"Gay marraige is a sin that should be frowned upon". Who said that? I'll give you three guesses. God? No. Jesus? No. The Bible? No. The correct answer is...the Catholic Church! Huzzah! Why? Because they see gay marraige as an immoral issue, and being a church, they have a lot of issues.
Yes, morality is were this tale lies. The moral god of the world, the Catholic Church.
Could you get more moral than these fellows? I doubt it. Unless of course, they start going about molesting children then I would have to...
In 1984, the first year of his assignment to the Boston diocese, Cardinal Bernard Law approved the transfer of Father John J. Geoghan to St. Julia’s parish in Weston, Massachusetts, despite substantial evidence that Geoghan had sexually abused children during previous assignments. Geoghan had been treated several times for molesting boys and had been removed from at least two parishes for sexually abusing children.
What do you know, against gay marraige and all for peadophilia.
Don't you just love it when the freedom that you're trying to condone gets legalised just after you molested a little child? I bet they were rofling all the way to the courthouse.
So, who else was against gay marraige that I could mercilessly destroy here?...any guesses? No? Well then let me spell it out to you. A-M-E-R-I-C-A. That's right, land of the free, 'Liberty and Justice for All', were 80% of the population see nothing wrong with being gay, but 90% of the population opposes gay marraige. How does that work out? The American goverment says that:-Gay marraige is a sin and should not be incorperated with the American constitution.
Well so is bombing unarmed countries and killing 30,000 civilians in collateral damage (come on, just call it terrorism, for crying out loud). The only other excuse the American goverment could provide was that this introduction of an 'untried social issue' could decrease the population of America, and henceforth the American army (the AA, lol). Well considering that public schools and prisons in America are so over crowded that they may introduce conscription again. (bad move Mr. Bush)
Well, there you go. The Catholic Church see's nothing wrong with the little parts of little boys and the American Goverment hates everyone.
