Yes, I am aware of United's decline, but this made my day...

Real Madrid suffered an embarrassing 6-1 defeat at the hands of Real Zaragoza in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final.

The Real Madrid team featured Ronaldo, Julio Baptista, Roberto Carlos and England captain David Beckham.Sweet.

Woah?!

I saw that and thought they must be playing their B-Team because spanish clubs don't usually care about the domestic cups..though I guess Real Madrid thought it is the only thing they stand a chance at...

Still....w00t! I hate Real Madrid...team of overpaid queens.

I tried to find a link to the Jonathan Woodgate story to add to this, but I couldn't find it.

Allegedly Mr Woodgate refer's to himself exclusively in the third person now, using his initials. And Allegedly during sex with a lady employee of Real, who of course told the press, he kept screaming "JW'S FEELIN' YOU BABY!".

This made me laugh, more than it should have.

Real Madrid, or Billy Buffoon's Funtime Circus as they're known in my house are representative of all thats bad in football right now. Also when they get bummed like this it makes my heart grow just a little bit and increases my belief that all the worlds problems can be solved by football.

They have glaring deficiencies in both defence and midfield, so what do they do in January? Buy a striker of course!

God bless you Florentino Pérez.

It had to happen eventually - basic rule of football.

It's been scientifically proven that football is the most exciting sport due to the way that the underdog can often win and sometimes spectacularly. Fair play to Boro.

And fair play to Mourinho:

"When you lose, it is always a bad day, especially when you don't lose a lot.

"In my time at Chelsea, this is the third defeat in the Premiership and you can say it was the worst.

"We lost to Manchester City and didn't deserve it, we lost at Manchester United and didn't deserve it. We lost today 3-0 - and we deserved it."
