I can't connect to these, it says LAN servers are restrcited to local clients (class C).
No idea what that means, any ideas?

Uh, it means that it is on a Local Area Network, not the Internet, therefore, you can't join it, you're not on the network.....but it dosen't make sense, cause they are internet servers.....well i'll try work out the problem for you.

hey I have that problem too on a nice server with heromod.. now I can't join.. It's very frustrating

could it be you're trying to join a steam server through normal CS or vice versa? because i don't think that works...

They are 1.6 servers (steam) and you get that error if u try and connect to them using Gamespy etc. because it will try and launch the game through CS 1.5

i used to play counter-strike but cos steam came i decided to take a break (oh yea and you NEED steam to play cs nothing else will work i.e hlsw because vavle have shut down the won auth system)
