So, here's this year's thread for your pranks - real life, the interweb, things you want to do...

Seeing as I'm a social reject, I've gone for the interweb approach, and giving up making it believable. Heard of the sprite site "the Spriters Resource" ( http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/ )? I took control of it today, turning the site green and into the Sprite Resource! And messed up the forum to match. :)

I've done another online April Fools :)

Got a phonecall from a mate today telling me that he just heard that Radiohead were playing a gig in Dublin in August, with Beck supporting and the tickets just went on sale yesterday. Being the big Radiohead and Beck fan that I am, I was excited. But within seconds the famous Flava Dave intellect kicked in "It's an April Fool's joke isn't it?" he denied this, I didn't believe him and so on for several hours (about five minutes actually, but I'm telling a story here). So the call ends and I go and check the ticketmaster site. And he wasn't lying! Fuck yeah!



The gig was sold out though.
