Right. I'm calling out to all those fellow goth's out there to give me a bit of a point in the right direction. I'm after a few items to improve 'pon my gothic look.
Firstly i'm after a jacket. But no ordanary jacket. I'm being very specific here, and in short i'm after a long Leather trench/jacket with RED LINING. I can't seem to find one anywhere, yet i've been other chaps out with them. I've tried ebay several times but nothing. Anyone know where I can get one of these bloody things?
Secondly, gauntlets. That's right, that old medival armour you see in lord of the rings and other old movies. I have no idea where to find a pair of these metalic gloves of joy. Any ideas?

They don't tend to be leather - the ones with a red lining are usually velvet.
Militaria shops might help with the other one.

.... Near Glasgow ?
If so try Osiris, Hellfire and such likes I've also seen a little area with 2 or 3 goth chops in it one called 'Cyber' - you could try those placesand probably find something more so from Osiris and maybe Hellfire

it depends on how much you're willing to pay for such items as well, 'cos i've never seen a decent looking leather trench for under £200 and it'd probably be far more if you had a nice quality one with nice lining. if money isn't an object then you might want to look into getting one custom made. i'm sure you could google to see if there's anywhere local to you that does a bespoke service. if you get a really nice one think of it as an investment, look after it and it will last you a lifetime. if it's just a fashion fad then you might as well get a cheap one that isn't necessarily exactly what you're after.
hope that helps (though it probably hasn't)

True true, though I have seen leather ones. It seems impossible to get a hold of one of these blighters.
