Okay, I've been bitching about how other poeple suck/are bad at art. So it's only fair that you get your go at me!
I made it in flash, had some trouble uploading it..so I had to do some stuff that lowerd the quality of it, sorry. (If anyone could help me, when I tried to send the bmp image up on imageshack it just turned out a black square:(, so if anyone could either solve my problem or host it for me that would make me happeeey!)

Save the image then -> file -> export image if you locked every layer it should work. Then host the exported file.

Just playing around with some glowing effects and shadows.

It's supposed to be outside, and that huge glowing thing is the moon..if anyone is wondering!
Also, I would like more feedback, anyone? No?
Things I know are wrong/bad:
-The drop shadow on the ground.
-The lack of (back)ground.

Umm.. black background = no shadow.

If you're doing a shadow, make it all black and set the transparency to 40% I believe.

Other than that, add some stars or something, could look nice.

Ok, just playing around with some smoke effects, this time I used Fireworks 8 to make some finishing touches.
I would mostly like comments about the smoke(ish) effect.

im guilty of that. But i know what he means entirely.

to his most recent pic, maybe he needs more detail? such as the terrorists wearing suits*, or there could be a background. At the very least they could add guns or accessories to the characters.

If done well, he would be able to keep his "style" with the shadows and just generally add more to the picture.

*take team laser explosion for example, they wear suits yet they are still weebl-esque.

The Weebl in that last one looks really good. The Bob is a bit off, maybe the eyes need plaing better.

The rest are good. I like your ideas. :)

However, the Heaven/Hell one should maybe reverse the positions of Weebl and Bob so that, reading left to right, Weebl comes first.

As you can probably see, I love the Pen Tool! The only thing I used on Chris!

The Bob Bobertson pic is pretty neat. Cool idea to use the dotted background. Though I think that the cutting you have done in the edges of Bob makes it look weird against the black formthingys(under the mouth and the right side)
Chris is pretty cool. Would be awsome if you maybe had used some other tools then just the pencil. Its very hard to get a good pic with just that tool. Though the shape comes out pretty well.
The last one looks like a god(should be kid, wordfilter?) drew it.
