I've had an Idea about 3-Ds, why not make blu tac (or white tac in my case) models of them? Here's my 1st:

Have you got a scanner? If you have, try scanning the blutac things. Make sure you set the resultion to its highest though, and you should get a high quality picamature.

If your digital camera has a macro mode, use that.

It's meant for taking pictues close up.

You may as well, that seems a bit hard, I did Chris the ninja pirate in 3 sections, the lion would take about 6: head, mane, body, arm, arm, leg, leg.

I tried to make the lion but I didn't have enough grey stuff, so I made the tiger instead.
It can't stand up on it's own, I had to balance it by putting my finger on it's head. Apologies for the crapness of my webcam, I'll go scan it later.

:eng101: Learn to use your CAMERA so we might have an idea what they look like. :p It clearly can't focus on something that close to it, so take a photo from further away.

How tall was that model?
