Recruitment for Forum Wars begins today! Chose which forum you would like to represent and vote in the poll for that forum.

Once we have recruited a resonable amount of players the games will begin!

IRC users come to #forumwar

Forum Wars is

A forumwide event that everyone can take part in.

Run by the players and teams with mods keeping an eye open.

Forum Wars is NOT

A roleplaying game.

An excuse for trolling or spam.


The game will consist of a number of teams competing for forum territory. The home team of the territory being contested will set a number of challanges for the attackers. The attacking team with the highest score will then have the chance to take the territory from the defenders.

The challenges will be thematically linked to the disputed territory.

Only one battle will take place at a time with all teams invloved. The battle will move on to a different territory after a given period of time.

One thing that still puzzles me, though: my strength is in debating, so I'll choose debates. Obviously I'll want to face debating-themed challenges as much as possible, but given that I'll never have to invade my own section, am I going to be without any such challenges at all? The difficulty being that if this is indeed true, it is in my best interests to choose a section which I am useless at, like art or music.
