Hopefully some of you will have played this game before, but it shouldn't be too complicated

There are 5 categories:

Words - What is this definition?
Initials - What does this stand for?
Dates - What happened on this day?
People - What is this person known for?
Movies - What is this film about?

Each turn I will select a category and will give you a question for that category: eg Words: What does the word SWALLET mean?

You have to provide an answer to this question and pm it to me. The idea is to bluff other people into thinking your answer is the right answer, so you'll need to be cunning or just good with words :p Once everyone has answered the question I will post all the answers along with the correct answer (all will be anonymous) and you have to vote for which one you think is the correct answer.

If you guess correctly, you will receive 3 points. If you guess incorrectly 1 point will be given to the person who's answer it was. You will also receive 1 point for every person who votes for your answer. In the real game, there are 3 points available for submitting an answer similar to the real one, however, this will not be the case in this game as it is too easy to cheat. If by coincidence your answer is similar and you can convince me you haven't cheated then I may allow it.

For now, voting will take place in the thread, but If it's faesable it would be better to put it in a poll, but I'm not sure if that could be arranged.

There will be a leader board and the game will continue as long as it can :p

Here's the first question and it's People:

What was Dominic Cruzzacrea known for?

and not the actor Dominic CruzzOcrea ;)

remember to pm your answers to me

I will post a trial run below. Any questions?

Trial Run

What does the word SWALLET mean?

a) A smaller relation of the common swallow (person A)
b) A safe-like wallet that allows you to lock your wallet with a key or combination (person B)
c) A place where streams disappear underground (real answer)
d) A rope used to tie down the mainsail of a ship (person C)

in the real game there wouldn't be the person's name after the post

Person A votes for c)
person B votes for a)
Person C votes for b)

as Person A guessed the correct answer they would get 2 points. But, person B also voted for their answer, giving them an additional point and bringing their total up to 3

person B gets 1 point as person C voted for their answer

person C gets nothing
