I don't know if i'm doing the right thing by actually doing this but anyway.

Today my sister's boyfriend's dad died today of a heart attack. He was at work and went into the office room that his son was in and was complaining of chest pains so they rang an ambulance, he was rushed to hospital and died either on the way or when he arrived at the hospital, his wife later turned up after he had died.

Now my sisters boyfriend, who traveled with his father in the ambulance is having flash backs of being in the ambulance with him.

I never met him but i feel for my sisters boyfriend, but now i'm feeling confused on how to act when i next see my sister and her boyfriend, since i'm an idiot and will laugh at some stupidly pointless thing, so what should i do?

Thanks

(also good news is that my band won best cover song in my shcools battle of the bands tonite, doesn't balance out but helps, kinda)

Just offer your sympathy if you feel the atmosphere is suitable for it.

Other than that, you don't have to bring anything up, nor do you have to discuss it. I'm sure if you laughed at something completely unrelated, he wouldn't take offence. I'm also sure he has a lot more on his mind than what his girlfriends brother thinks.

I wouldn't worry about it.
