anyone else think steam is a steaming pile of turd?
I mean, ok, it may be a good idea, but the servers dont work properly, half of them are down, the ones that are up are slow as hell because of the amount of people downloading them. Steam itself as a program is buggy, you get disconnected randoml;y with weird symbols as an error message, not all mods are supported and for all our friends on 56k it's practically unaccessable.
VALVe need to sort all these problems out, and get steam working properly before they switch it over as the permanent replacement of the WON servers, let alone incorporating it in with the Half life 2 installation/online play.
