This is a diagram of my house and cable setup:
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k46/corn_fest/myhouse.gif

A cable wire goes into my Comcast High Speed Internet box (1);
an Ethernet cable comes out of this box and into my PC (2).

If I attached this router to the Ethernet cable coming out of cable box, would the signal be strong enough to provide full high-speed internet to my two TVs which I will be playing my Wii on (3 and 4)?

Also, if I got this router, could I possibly plug my PC directly into the router via another Ethernet cable or would I have to get a PC card?

I don't want to get a PC card because it is too expensive :(

Note that I know next to nothing about routers and things.

You will be able to plug your PC into the back of that router as it has a built in 4 port switch. Whether or not you'll be able to get a strong enough signal for your Wii is another matter as you're going through a fair few walls there. Having said that since you're using a link to Worst Try, I'm guessing you're in the states and therefore your house is of the typical timber frame construction which should obstruct the wireless signal far less than a typical UK brick walled house.

Thank you :)
Indeed, I am in a plywood house.
I think I'll go buy this!

Also, place the router next to your computer and not next to the modem, to make your range go further.

See, I do know a few (basic) things.

And yes, buy the router, it is a good one :)

Also:

If the router has a turbo option, it may be an idea to turn it on for more range and speed.

Yeah totally fine. Maybe need a high gain aerial if all else fails, but ultimately you're not surrounded by brick.

I need exactly $10 more to buy it.

Ah I hate being that close to a purchase! Try behind the sofa, or if you have a dog, turn it upside and shake it?
