I will (hopefully) be getting a new mouse and headphones for Christmas, but I'm not sure which to get. These will be primarily for gaming, and I don't think there's much of a price limit, (parents= moneyz) as long as it's not into multiple hundreds ;).
I was thinking about this (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/productdetails.aspx?pid=092) mouse and these (http://www.razerzone.com/Products/Gaming-Audio/Razer-Barracuda-HP1-Gaming-Headphones/) headphones.
Do you peoples think these would we a good choice, or would I be better off buying something else?

The mouse = brilliant, microsoft pump out some of the best hardware (despite the software) and Razer mice are the best you can get. I have one, and in a word it's amazing.
The head phones look brilliant too although it depends what price you can get them for over here.

I've heard lots of good things about the HABU mouse. Its basically a Razer on the inside, meaning first class gaming performance and fully customisable buttons, the info for which are stored on the mouse so you'll keep the same config if you switch the mouse to a different PC, etc, but with the ergonomics of an IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0, which are meant to be some of the best around.
As for the headphones, although they'll probably be fine I've heard very little about them. I personally would go for some Speedlink Medusas (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-026-SL). A friend of mine has them and they are brilliant surround sound headphones. I've heard nothing but good things about them so would defiantly be worth getting.

Veeeery good mouse. A cross between a razer copperhead and an IntelliMouse explorer 3, no complaints there :)
Can't really comment on the headphones, though I know that razer aren't known for churning out shitty products, certainly.

Looking at the Headphones it looks like they recommend that you buy their sound card too, they are probably fine on any other soundcard but you will probably loose some features

I have heard alot of good stuff about the Zalman surround sound headphones;

Although it would mean a separate mic :/
As for the mouse, I really like my Logitech MX518 but have never tired a razer so I couldn't compare the two. One of my favorite features of the MX518 is the side buttons, very useful as I often use voice communication on push to talk. There's also the G5 if you want even more :)

I have an X-fi Fatal1ty, so they should sound good enough anyway. :)

They will probably sound good, you will just loose some of the 'special' features.

Oh.
Nah, Sennheiser are expensive, but not into multiple hundreds(for gaming anyway, audiophile is much higher). Apparently they are some of the best you can buy.
