Throwing a question into the wind: What software/hardware do you use?

I really like your drumwork.

I have trouble with drums, especially working with all the effects like your 1min6mashup. That's what I'm aiming for.

I have a little band running with a couple of mates, based in London...

Lantern (www.angelfire.com/alt/lantern/)

(will be having a sesh. in but a few hours in fact! Wheee! First get-together in several months. Oh, and don't take anything on the site seriously. We don't.)

nah, that'd be this lot > http://www.lanternmusic.com/home.html

Their website's much better than ours. But at least all our links work ;)
There's only three of us in our band. And we haven't gigged. Mostly since we live too far from each other to regularly practice. But we do get together everynow and then and make a song from scratch. And get drunk on illegal homebrew Russian samagonka, which I have vowed to never drink again. Untill the next time.

I make music (slowly)
The only proper tune i ever made was the Hats For Clowns remix for that competitition a while back, the rest have just been cut up stuff and crudness. I had another tune going but it went bye bye as the program i used decided to pack up

the guitar sounded a bit like the guitars in finale 2003 or summat:)

used for the guitars: the plucked plugin (string synth) for FruityLoops...

made by my band (with fruityloops beats, and real life guitars)

poofbird, didn't you make a special live version of your stairway for clowns song when you got your new electric-acoustic? or was i dreaming that? If you did, and you still have it, can you link me to it sometime? because it was great :D

yes, there is a live version. You weren't dreaming.
I took it offline though, was a bit big for my server... any one who wants the live track should contact me through some media
