its all a scam, like most tv question and answers, if they give prize's away without a question they cant get the money through the phone charges but if they add a seriously simple question they can let you phone in as many times as you like, so when they have the amount of cash the prize is they will just hppen to have a phone call from a winner... well i think thats the reason

Nearly but not quite.... yes about the making money through phone calls, but they need a question/puzzle for legal reasons.... It's a form of "legalised gambling". They need to make it seem like the veiwer is having to solve something for the money, not being put into a random draw for a prize. (also why you need to "put your <b>answer</b> on a postcard"

But I bet you're still like me! You get stoned and you watch it for 5 minutes and then you switch, but when there's is nothing on you always end up coming back to it and watch another 5 minutes and then switch again and you do this till about three in the morning. And you have about 3 other people in the room with you in the same situation.

It's like a train wreck, you don't wanna watch but you can't look away.
