oh ..... dear!!

get a real html editor! Like a dreamweaver or the such like!

or failing that learn HTML and use Textpad/Notepad!!

I've used that program, it's a pain in the butt, to say the least. Looking at the code at a later date I found that the head was FULL of stuff that one shouldn't be there and that had no need to be there!!
In short I hate the thing with great loathing, "and furious anger, on those who would attempt to poison my bothers"!...oh wait.. sorry! off topic a little  ..er but you get the point :D

Front Page disclaimer:

On behalf of the few people in the world who actually have a legitimate use for FP, some schools actually teach it side by side with keyboarding and word processing.

There are people whose casual web posting is much simpler and easier for them when they use a product like FP. the serious webmasters have their own little secrets and tricks, but FP was not written for serious webmasters. Weekend warriors who have full-time jobs but give a couple hours a week to a charitable orginization's web page have a legitimate reason to fool with Front Page.

The rest of us have our own favoirte web-whacking products and code editors. What we do normally is extremely hard work for a novice who only needs to touch up the dates and times or post current images on an existing site and leave the rest of it the heck alone.:D

Pigabuff
05-02-2004, 11:26 AM
ok, you have point there. FP = for dummies, and those who teach the dummies :D

and good editor programmes are for those who know HTML code.

I appologise, but my point still stands :p

Edit: even though I can't spell

i dont see what your problem with it is?
its free you can type your code into it and see what you've done.

i do know html but i find using fp useful for the scripts written in java and perl languages which i know nothing about.

(it also colour codes)
