Battlefield 2142

I'm curious, do we have any saavy 1942, Bf2 or 2142 players here ?
I'm guessing there are and it would nice to spark up a discussion about the game.

If so, what do you think of the game as such and/or will you be moving to QW.

Anyway,
I play with the Furious Angels gaming clan and we have a bf2142 server which I play on fairly regularly (well not at the mo, fried my graphics card with static - first time i've heard of it actually happening to anyone and not just being a story), moved to it from Planetside. Probably gonna move on to Quake Wars if it proves less buggy, or maybe ut2k7 (was a big fan of 2k4).
Game is quite fun but like I said, the stuttering lag issues bug me, also the maps being tiny compared to what I was used to. It's a real shame Planetside wasn't made by Blizzard or CCP (the people who do EvE), companies which wouldn't run it into the ground like Sony did.

I've been playing for a while now. I good while on Bf2 where I became a Sir. Community member. Still there now except we've moved to 2142 because the Quake Wars release date was pushed back.

As far as we go, we'll be moving to QW, however I'm going to buy UT2007 just for it's sexy game engine. :)

Yeah jsut tried to play bf2142 again today and the new card didn't really help, unplayable lag, bah.

Well, I used to play BF2, but I don't play that anymore, now that I got BF2142.
So... Yeah. You can sometimes catch me on there.

BF2 has been and will be for a couple of months my best fps. i love the game but i just didnt like the look of BF2142. anyway Stalker is coming out in a couple of months and then UT07 which looks lovely and i was a big fan of UT04 aswell
