For a while I have been wondering over the origins of the toon science, as it instantly reminded me of a very strange song by Thomas Dolby, "She Blinded me with Science!".
Having looked on wikipedia about the song, (link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She_Blinded_Me_With_Science)) I found that the shouts of science are soundbites from a certain Magnus Pyke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnus_Pyke). Could he be the inspiration for the science video on weebls-stuf?
A quick google search reveals this to be magnus pyke: http://rhodri.biz/pix/magnus_pyke.jpg (low quality unfortunately, but note that flaming bunsen in the background. Familiar, eh?)
He doesn't really look like any character in the Science video on Weebls-stuff, although vaguely like the one who sniffs the underwear.
However, compare the two soundbites of Science!:
Weebls-stuff (http://www.darkheartstudios.co.uk/files/science.mp3)
Thomas Dolby (http://www.darkheartstudios.co.uk/files/science2.mp3)
Now thats vaguely conclusive evidence!
Either I'm onto a win, or this is complete bullshit.
Now I just have sit back and wait for weebl to say he's never even heard of Thomas Dolby.....

That's some interesting investigation.

I fail however, to see the flaming bunsen in the background of the Magnus Pyke picture. All I see is a partially visible map, which appears to be showing South America in the visible part.
