Basically, 20 questions.

I will think of a thing (it will always be a physical thing like a person or an animal, or an object), and then you have to ask me questions about it, that have to be yes or no questions, or guesses at what it is, and the person who guesses it first gets one point on the scoreboard, and it starts again.

One question per post, and after 20 questions, or after someone guesses the correct answer, I will reveal the answer if no one got it, and start a new round. Each person is only allowed one guess at the thing per round.

Please comment, and I will change it if it seems an okay idea.

Off you go.

Scoreboard.
Joint 1st place - Chaotica with 1 point - James Brown
Joint 1st place - Stalefish with 1 point - Vladimir Lenin

No.

Ummm a question eh. Errr how about...

What is it?

lol, you may want to edit your first page a little. Maybe we should be able to ask Yes/No type questions.

Serious Question.
Is it something people use?

On a side note, I was in HMV and was playing around with this toy. It told me to think of anything and then it would ask me questions to which I reply, Yes, No or Unsure. After a while it guess. Well it said anything so I deliberatly thought of David Bowie. Because well there was no way it would have David Bowie in its database. And true enough it didn't guess David Bowie, but instead, A Star. You should have seen the little smile on my face. Think I might watch Labyrinth again tonight.

bmfy.
27-12-2006, 08:36 PM
Okay, I've edited it now.

No it's not something people use.

Is it commonly found ( e.g a pen)

m00b
28-12-2006, 03:13 PM
Is it found around a house or outside a house?

bmfy.
28-12-2006, 05:22 PM
Is it commonly found ( e.g a pen)

No, there is only one of it.

Is it found around a house or outside a house?

Well neither really, sorry.

The questions can only be yes or no remeber.

Might I suggest that you figure out what type of thing it is, such as a human or an object or an animal...

Might I suggest that you figure out what type of thing it is, such as a human or an object or an animal...

Is it alive?

Serious Question.
Is it something people use?

those two questions show that it isn't a person / animal / plant and it isnt used ( physically )

Is it commonly found ( e.g a pen)

now i know that it is rare / unique / the only one that exists

Is it found around a house or outside a house?

this question tells us that it isnt outside a house / around a house, But most things inside a house are commonly found so that shortens the list.

so i dont waste this post and because i have a suspicion (sp?)

Is it in space?

bmfy.
28-12-2006, 06:11 PM
I'll change the thing about 20 posts, you can post as much as you like, but only 20 questions, that should make things better.

Just because it's not alive doesn't mean that it can't be a person or an animal, what about being dead?

The answer to your question is yes, it is in space.

It will always be a physical object as well.

stalefish
28-12-2006, 06:54 PM
Is it a planet?

Also, I suggest adding a rule of only one guess per person, per round or similar.

bmfy.
28-12-2006, 06:58 PM
No, it's not a planet.

I don't think adding that rule would be a good idea, as for that there would have to be more than 20 people playing, which is unlikely.

Is it hot?

bmfy.
29-12-2006, 09:49 AM
About 37 degrees C.

Mr stabby
29-12-2006, 12:51 PM
Is it the atmosphere?

bmfy.
29-12-2006, 12:53 PM
No.

Hint: It's dead. Dead as in it was once alive, not dead as in it never has been alive.

Roxit
29-12-2006, 01:55 PM
Ur-anus?

heh heh heh

(not a serious guess)

Is it the moon? Its in space. A big lump of dead rock, which was once alive. Sun heats it up a bit as well.

bmfy.
29-12-2006, 02:03 PM
Please ignore my answer to m00b's question.

It's not the moon.

You've used up 10 of your question's so far.

Plus now I've edited the first post, so please can you look at that. There's not much change, but I have added a new rule: One guess at what it is per person per round, so evil-flagpole wouldn't be able to guess anymore, but I assume that he didn't know the rule when he made the guess, so the rule starts from now instead.

2) It was originally made in between 1930-50 (it didn't take that long to make, that's just a rough guide).

bmfy.
30-01-2007, 06:39 PM
Nope.

Try asking more questions maybe.

You know he is or was once the leader of a country, and he's from Africa, and that he's black.

He's not any of the people already mentioned either (the leader of all Africa, Michael Jackson, Dave Chappelle, Nelson Mandella, or Steve Biko).

You have 11 questions left.

I wasn't the one who suggested that he was black.

And The Mna, Africa is a continent, not a country.

Some African countries for example, are Egypt, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Ethopia, and so on.
