Is it LightsabER or lightsabRE?

Well I'm confused about the spelling....the JK games say its lightsabER and so do other Star Wars games but books say lightsabRE..wot is the correct spelling?

The books came before the games, the books are the origionals.

The books are right.

It's also spelt sabre in fencing, so it stands to reason...

I'm guessing maybe it's spelt lightsabre in British version of the books, because none of my American versions are spelled with the re, they're all spelled 'lightsaber'.

It's one of those deviant 'American' spellings, like taking the 'u' out of everything.

(Who the hell spells it 'colour' or 'armour' these days?? *ducks!*)

P.S. - Go to Star Wars online (http://www.starwars.com) and do a search for lightsabre, and you get 0 returns. They all come up for lightsaber. ;)
