All I can find on the subject is a song which repeats the word 'Kuzco', which is pretty old as far as I know.
Of course, that may well be just be because I haven't looked in the right places.
I haven't found anything with several different Disney characters in, if that's what the rumour is about. But then that's much harder to look for.

Disney rips things off all the time.
Emporer's new school is a poorly slapped together corporate choking of one of the few decent newer disney films. Except its all animated in Korea and isnt funny in the least.
I'm sure somewhere, someone will record the kuzco badger parody and stick it on youtube. Give it time.

It was an advert- only came out last week so it is new. War, anyone?
Why on earth are people talking of sueing?
It's most likely a parody or a homage to the toon itself. You know, like shows like family guy and the simpsons do all the time?

Also, there seems to be the view amongst ad agencies that they can do what they want with stuff from the internet and not acknowledge the source - there needs to be some fuss made about this

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they'd be the easiest people to sue. I don't know, but maybe it's the fact that they are huge and could afford the best lawyers and all that jazz. Heh, but I've never sued anyone, never been sued either, wouldn't know how it works.

I think that point is that a parody generally is portrayed as such, whereas this isn't. The Simpsons are portrayed as a comedy tv show, which occasionally spoofs others. And where explicit copyright is used, then permission and payment are required.
A Multi-national Corp like Disney should know better, and at the very least seek permissions.

Note though that these were professional profitmaking daycare centers, which places then in a whole different league as the non-profit ones.
If they are profitmaking enterprises, then it's perfectly normal for them to have to ask for permits.

Legaly speaking, Fox being the network that allows both programs airtime is not actually justification. Ownership of the images and content is still technically that of the animators and the writers respectively. Any lawsuit between the two parties would perhaps be settled by Fox (or perhaps the parent company), but that doesn't mean one set couldn't get pissed off and launch such an action.
It is more because of the relationships (apart from both being Fox programs) between both teams, that the two programs freely poke fun at one another using otherwise copyrighted images or intellectual property.
True, it would be harder to get away with if they were on different networks, but that would only mean the networks would attempt lawsuits on their behalf whether they wanted it or not, to protect their individual investments. They don't have direct ownership.

Actually Fox owns copyright over the shows, characters and situations portrayed within so, it is actual justification. It's part of the deal they have in exchange for giving airtime and funding.
