...and my parents are drunk. It truly is New Years eve now.

And I'm not - so not quite.

I have work at 2pm tomorrow. I need to get drunk tactically to minimise angry headacheness tomorrow.

My parents are at the New Year's party I'm going to so there will be no need to worry about headaches since I won't be getting... 'merry' in the first place!

Ooh, I can hear fireworks here too. It's like there's some sort of international celebration going on! :D
I wish my friends who actually drink were available this eve, but they're all either scattered around the country, or gone to parties of people who don't know me well enough to invite me. Or they're being boring and staying in by themselves, hehe.

As it is, I'm going to a friend's house, with our families present. I'm not sure how many other persons of the youthful persuasion will be there though, so it could hopefully still be pretty good.

There'll be a distinct lack of alcohol though.

if i'm lucky i shall have a party to get to tonight, and will be able to watch fireworks from there. it's all dependent on whether or not the guy who invited me along has got over his stomach bug in time and will be able to go out - because i forgot to ask him where it is.

rotten time to get ill really. a potential night of festively excusable drunken debauchery completely wasted.

Some of the sticks that are attached to the firework itself are hitting my driveway outside and making me jump :(

I had to give my elder dog valium because she's shitescared of fireworks.

Fabulous new year in tears of laughter as she lifted her leg to scratch herself, looked at her paw and fell over. And couldn't walk properly. And stole chinese takeaway off a table, which is completely unlike her.
