i love spyro games,i dunno why but i just love them, i think spyro 2 game was my first ps1 game and the 1st game i ever played lol.

stuff about me and my spyro game experience:

spyro1:
kinda hard and slightly long, entertaining, but i can get to the last boss given if i have 5 hours straight, but then i cant beat him, dam you gnasty gnorc...

spyro2:
probably my favourite spyro game, good graphics considering it was for ps1, and good gameplay, long, hard-ish, good bosses to, especialy the last boss, that was very fun indeed

spyro3:
ah, the 1st one i actualy was determined to finish, i never did though =(
it was the 1st one to introduce playng as other characters than spyro to, with such characters as agent9-thespace monkey guy.
and it had some odd main goal of collecting eggs and whatching them hatch and make dragons for some reason.enjoyable, but kinda hard

many years later
spyro enter the dragonfly:
i dont remember, i know i have it though...

spyro a heroes tail:
pretty much a extension of spyro3, and it had gnasty gnorc in again, not very creative, and i stopped playing as it was to hard.

that recent spyro game:
short, but highly enjoyable,it was done by chrome studios, same people who made ty the tasmanian tiger instead of insomniac.it had a new fighting style and didnt have the gems as money thing, and still had the elemental breaths that i think came in a heroes tail.Fun.

waiting for the next spyro =(
i actualy did the new spyro game in a few days of getting it lol.

what do you think of spyro games?

hmmm, just noticed how long this was...

I didn't mind Spyro of the first variety actually - the graphics were technically impressive - but I've always been a bit of a Croc slut.

I could quite simply have replaced the last sentence with "laugh at me please".

yeh, i liked all the ratchet and clank games.

and croc is awsome to, i love that game so much =)
hard though, good gameplay, but in croc one i kinda...cheated =P

and i found the last spyro game easy, and finished it quite quikly, still fun though

I haven't played any Spyro games but I love appropriate capitalisation, proper paragraphs and good grammar in general.

when i was a little gamer i grew up with Spyro and crash bandicoot.

Then the dawn of the PS2 seen me playing games like Ratchet and clank (awesome game) and Jak and daxter (another awesome game) i know have all current games of crash bandicoot, Jak and R + C, but spyro died for me...good games for a while, but they are all kind of the same.

Completed all R + C, Jak and CB, all my spyro games have been long forgotten apart from Enter the dragon fly, the loading screns on that game are murder.

I'm not slagging him off, I was a big fan of the spyro and crash bandicoot games. I just like posting like an incomprehensible moose. Not that I'm saying crazeyeye is an incomprehensible moose, but I like the rush it gives me. But I can stop at any time, honest, please.

Oh lawd help meh!

Spryo 2 was the game that got me interested in games. It was awesome. Spyro 3 was alright, and I've never played Sypro 1.

However I thought that Enter the Dragonfly was a mess, pretty graphics but no story, unbearable load times and no indication of what to do. Also it had about 1/4 the amount of levels the old PS1 games had.
A Hero's Tail was good in its own way, but not good as a Spyro game. It's like they took random game #346 and slapped Spyro skins on it.

My three cents, because that wasn't only worth two.

Also a new beginning or whatever looks like trash. It totally forgets the old PS1 games or something along those lines, right?

its kinda odd, as they claim its how spyro began, but i think its kinda fun. but thats my opinion

Don't know why but sypro games always seemed to me like "collect 50 of that" "kill 20 of these" I mean the graphics where nice, but it just lacked that magic that mario 64 had, like I'd rather save one baby penguin and get it down a massive mountain rather than collect 24 of them and them just vanish.

I always enjoyed the hidden Spyro demos on my Crash Bandicoot games, but to be honest, like someone already said, the "Collect/kill __ of these" missions got too monotonous for me to even want to play the full thing. Always a good way to spend a few minutes though. I haven't seen the recent games, but if they're anything like Crash Bandicoot they've gone down the crapper.

Like crash bandicoot, the games from the PS2 onwards are shite.

The first three were very good fun. Spyro was my first 3D platformer actually.

I loved the PS1 Spyros, but thought the latter ones (did they sell the rights?) were rather shite. Same with Ratchet and Clank - loved 1-3, but what the hell was Gladiator? I thought it was going to be like the fighting arenas in the earlier ones, but they farted around with the controls, and the graphics made my eyes cry. Very sad.

im not 17

yeh, the ps1 spyros were probably the best, the ps2 ones mest with the gameplay and graphics and story, i mean, most of them were collect the eggs, same as spyro 3, and one of the bosses in the ps2 ones was gnasty gnorc...again.

Very sad.I didn't mind Gladiator, it had some faults I'll admit (too short/easy for a R+C game, the first one was fucking rock hard, humour was a bit off) but I still enjoyed it, it was awesome putting all of your speed upgrades on the pistol and turning it into an ammo waisting uzi :D.

Also lol i cant meak a gewd post coz i dunno whut wrds are teh gewd 1s.

I was a big fan of the Jak games, but when it got to the third game I found that it was too focused on vehicle gameplay and fighting random people, there wasn't enough platforming. Jak 2 blended traditional platforming with the new fighting and weapon aspects perfectly.

Jak 2 made me want to throw the pad at the wall the whole time. It was little things, like in hoverbike races when they'd stick pedestrians right in front of the rings and send you flying off course. I still completed it, but sometimes it was near unbearable.

Nope there making a new ratchet and clank on the Ps3, but i heard its just a remake of the first one.

I preferred Croc: Legend of the Gobo's.

Very similar, but I just got on better with it. I also liked Ristar but nobody else seemed to back me up. :(

I've played some Spyro game on PS1, which was quite fun. Only borrowed it for a while. I had the Spyro launch game for GBA, which was utter turd, and I once played a GameCube one, which had me reaching for TimeSplitters in 3 minutes.

Croc and Croc 2 were bloody difficult!

Made alot of PS1 platform games look like walks in the park.
