Good Cheap Games

Now. I'll be honest. I'm like the kid at school who was 3 years older than you but was still in your class. IE: I'm a little behind the rest of you with my gaming exploits. I'm still on my Xbox with no 360 or PS3 insight. My collection looks a little bare and outdated as well.

Now this benefits my bank balance greatly as most games I wanna buy now only cost £20 at most. I'm now looking for a few new titles to boost my Xbox collection and would like some suggestions for some bargains under £20 that you feel are essentials.

There isn't a great deal I don't like so post away!

I came here to say Ninja Gaiden Black as well. The normal (non-black) edition will do the job pretty well, but black should be dirt cheap 2nd hand by now anyway. Avoid it if you really dislike fast, hard action/beat-em-up games, but if you like that sort of thing I think it's the best example of the genre so far.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Thief: Deadly Shadows are two sneaking-around-in-the-dark games for Xbox that I really like, and should be very cheap. I love sneaking, me.

I'm in the same boat with the ol' xbox, so I'll tell you how i've gotten on so far; all games under eight quid, most games under a fiver (these are the good ones from my collection):

I just picked up Pariah and Oddworld: Strangers Wrath new for $10. Pariah is nothing special, but Strangers Wrath is much fun.

Star Wars KOTOR, 1&2, are both really cheap, and keep you going for a while.

And I concur with the aforementioned Ninja Gaiden comments. It is sex on a disk. Not Hot Coffee from GTA sex, but like...awesomeness sex.

PES 4 for the Xbox is really good. PES 5 is just crap, and PES 6 isn't out on the Xbox, just the 360. It'll probably be really cheap aswell now.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is good if you have a few mates to play with, Total Overdose is trashy fun, and I'd say if you don't have Hitman: Blood Money yet than that's a must.

I don't have too much xboxy knowledge but I do remember Midtown Madness 3 being ace, and it must surely come free with cereal packets its been out so long.

Anyway... the only Xbox game I ever really liked was Conker: Live and Reloaded, which is pretty cheap.

Thanks y'all. Some of them I already have (Halo, Midtown, Splinter Cell 3, PES4/5, GTA: SA/VC) and some I had (Timesplitters, Mech Assault) but never got into.

Ninja Gaiden looks to be popular and I'm already in the pursuit of Fable. I also thought about giving Jade Empire a blast.

Anymore suggestions?

Psychonauts (MUST HAVE)
Yes get that, it's a very good game, you get to go into people's minds where crazy things happen and a variety of psychic powers. It's a bit Zeldaish in the way it plays but it's a very fun and original. I would tell you about the levels but that would spoil some of the fun.

I played about 3 hours of Psychonauts and must have got distracted by some other game and stopped. It works on 360 now so I'll have to give it another go, it was pretty fun and unique from what I played but not quite living up to the hype.
