As you can see, I'm new here. I just found this site today, but it gave me a very positive impression. The stickies indicated this would be a good place to introduce myself, so here I am. :) A little about myself:

I am a girl. In addition to more feminine interests such as reading, poetry and stuffed animals, I enjoy the study of military aircraft, pre-industrial weaponry, linguistics, and a little bit of most everything. I take a cynical but easygoing world-view, preferring to be amused by fools rather than gripe about them.

Eh, where I come from that's just how most people view things like that. I think the bias is a little silly myself, but no matter.

Well, we do share a hobby that is uncommon at the best. :)
Most people would be into firearms, so meeting someone that is interested in preindustial weapons and hopefully tactics is nice to meet :p
