Woohoo simplicity. I love these basic sites simply because...well they're simple! Bring out the best of the site. I've done a few jobs where the company wanted dead simple things for people who were new to the web or just wanted a sleek design and it's actually harder than it looks to come up with something simple yet attractive. Top job!

Brilliant. Powered by CSS, simple scheme.

2 things - I don't like the blue (personal preference) and please ditch the splash screen. It's just another click people will have to do and it's another 2 clicks for people to click back to where they left off.

i love the blue!!

i found it with a png, as IE doesn't support the alph propperly, it gave me this colour insted... so i used it...

the links will go elsewere soon, sofar the search is the only impliemnted bit.

i also like splash screens, don't ask me why... i don't know

i also like nice simple sites.

but if i may offer one suggestion:

you might want to make the m logo a teeny bit smaller. it really overdominates the screen

Nice site! Could you explain the 3d picture thingy in articles a bit more? It sounds interesting

take 2 pictures, one from one place and one from a place about 10cm to the left or right, pointing at the same thing

stoke up photoshop

open the images

copy one onto the top of the other

(the bottom one will be called background. you need to duplicate it and delete teh origonal)

change the blending options by right clicking on the layer and selecting right clicking, select blending options. in this dialog there is a set of 3 tick boxes, for the left pic select red only and for teh right select green and blue only

fiddle with the alpha of the top image until it looks ok and have a gander through your 3D glasses

I err... aquired.. one of them 3d thingies (no, I didn't go to spy kids. thank god.) but the making-a-3d-picture process isn't going along very well.. could you post an example?
