I missed what was set out for breakfast today, so I was confined to eating what everyone else was calling lunch. This consisted of battered fish pieces and Fettuccine Cabonara (I think that's how you spell it, meh). A surprisingly good breakfast for college food.

Why didn't you just put cereal instead of listing four types? ¬_¬ I didn't have either of those.

I'm not even sure if we get Captain Crunch or Fruit Loops in the UK.

Because that would have been sensible!

So I'm not answering on the point that my cereal isn't specified. :P

I had nothing and almost never do. I very rarely get up in time for breakfast and even when I do I'm never hungry enough for it.

This. I think the last time I had breakfast I was being forced to when I went on holiday to spain with my parents.

Poll needs a "Nothing" option.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa...

I see a coffee option, but no tea?!?!?!

Outrageous.

I didn't have any breakfast this morning, but I usually have cereal, toast or a protein shake and banana.

With orange juice and/or tea.

Where's the tea man?

WHERE'S THE TEA?!

I think he's American. Americans know not the joy of tea.

I'm considered to be Asian-American according to the bubble-in test in the ethnicity section...i sometimes enjoy tea, and all i had to eat was some random crap from the fridge, which was the last frozen waffles, with (tap) water. other i believe should count as nothing or some other british cereal, i never heard of...

I think he's American. Americans know not the joy of tea.

Stop blaming other Americans with damn stereotypes. There's plenty of Americans that like tea. But I particularly don't, because it smells funny, and there's no way i'm going to kill 3 minutes of my time making tea, when i could just get a can of pop out of the fridge. How would thou art like to be stereotyped? Hmmm? All british people are meanie-faces. There's an example right there.....Some ignorance people have these days......ARGH!
or what about...the infamous stereotype...All of those who are Blackpool must be poor and bad people.

Normally, porridge with an apple and a glass of tomato juice.

Also, poll should have just had general categories, tbh.

Argh, how come whenever i try to be specific, people always whine about it....argh..just put other! i never heard of meusli before and i didn't put grits, oatmeal, trifles, mangos, papayas, or reindeer! ARGH! Stop blaming my American-ness!

Toast with Jam, some kind of sugary cereal and orange juice. A winning combination.

Interesting story: Last time I skipped breakfast I fainted due to low blood sugar levels. This was 4 years ago

I didn't wake up till 12, so I missed breakfast.

Usually, I have either...a maple and pecan danish, which are ORGASMIC...or bacon, pancakes and syrup.

My breakfast is so stacked with sugar, I never brush my teeth before I eat it. Seems abit like having a bath, then jumping in the sewer.

For the past years (besides when im on holiday) I've been for every morning feasting upon Weetabix, which i'll never get sick of.

I love toast, but i;ve a good reason for not having it,my toaster hates me.It will always burn my toast, nobody elses,it dosnt matter what setting I use,or what setting my family use, even if its the same as mine, mine will always be burnt.People i've told about this before have always told me to puut te setting down...for what? slightly crucnhy bread that dosnt even resemble toast?.

And since those times it's happened,i've never had toast, unless my mam makes it,cos hers is always so damn perfect

I never usually have breakfast, but since I suddenly now have more time in the morning, I like to have toast with marmite and a coffee (plus we get free Marmite which makes it even nicer :D).

You, my good sir have severely offended me. I demand there is an option for tea-drinkers!

And I did in fact have tea this morning, as I do every morning. And I think it was closer to espresso than water in strength.

When I have the time/hunger Bacon Egg and Toast Sandwich, but most days for the past 6 years it has been Vegemite and butter on toast. I maintain this is one of the most delicious foods ever (although eating it warm is crucial)

edit: Drink wise I usually skull enough water/juice so that my throat no longer hurts and then settle down to breakfast with some coffee.

Breakfast for me today was a cigarette because I woke up to discover I'd forgotten to go shopping yesterday.

However, being a student I've naturally gotten through my fair share of 'inspired' breakfasts which include, but are not limited to:

The classic left over pizza, which actually makes a pretty decent breakfast. Although I discovered that cold garlic bread is a bit nasty.
Pringle sandwiches. Usually when hungover because I have this habit of always coming home with a tube of pringles whenever I've been out on the piss.
Pint of Guinness. There's a pub where I live which is open 24 hours every day, and they also serve food. Went there early one morning for breakfast, only to be told they weren't doing breakfasts that day (the downside to 24 hour pubs is that they are apparently always out of stock of everything), so I decided not to make it a wasted trip and had the closest liquid equivalent to food there was.

Of course, that is on the days when I am actually awake in time for breakfast; I usually just end up going straight into lunch.

This morning (well yesterday morning now ) I had buttered toasted teacakes with fried bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms washed down with a mug of milk. I was hungover. It tasted sexy. Gimme the grease guvnor!
