New cat face merchandising wtf

As long as it simply is a flash animation I don't see problems, but producing "cat face" shirts and other materials won't get Sanryo's attention?

I can sorta see what you mean by the similarity, however Hello Kitty doesn't float and wears clothes. And obviously has a gigantic cat-face.

The only real similarity is that it's a white cat.

Furthermore I quite like the cat-face designs. I reckon I'll get me a tee with one on (when i get monehs, that is).

when i saw the designs it did automatically make me think of hello kitty

however i think it is different enough to not matter. unless sanrio owns the rights to all cartoon white cats

Perhaps cat face is just weebl's subtle tribute to Hello kitty.

Either that, or he was careful to avoid too many similarities.
