The highlight of my day is the fact I sent my friend a card pretending to be from a mysterious admirer, heh. Its an old trick, and he won't fall for it, but never mind. I'll wait and see.

He wanted to interview her asap... but she didn't have a car at the moment... oddly he asked me if i wanted to pick her up... i thought, why me?... Jim lives in Lincoln... he could easily bring her up and down... and he wouldn't have to make a double trip to do it... then it dawn on me... oh yeah! Jim's married!... he most certainly has something planned with his wife tomorrow... so i accepted to do it, but ofcourse in a sloth-like "its a dirty job but someones gotta do it" way... this got me $30 for food and gas... which is a good thing... i needed gas and is short on cash... damn hospital bills and medical false alarms... DAMN capitalism for preying on this weak man...

so i have to pick her up in Lincoln at about 11:00 ish... which is pretty early for me on a week day... let alone on a saturday. And drive her to Nebraska City... which is just short an hour drive... then take her home after the interview... I have no idea what i got myself into... at first thought... hey what the heck might be fun... maybe she is really cool and we can have a good conversation... but what if she isn't? one hour back... one hour forth... and no conversation... an uncomfortable silence... which if you ever drive on a highway in the plains of Nebraska... can prove to be fatal....

another thought that came to my head... 'shit, what if she turn out to be really nice, but Steve show her to the door in a way to make her feel less of herself and now i have to deal with those vibes for the ride home?'

oh god... please protect me...

This Valentine's is a strange one.

I'm out with a friend (female) who's been asked to go along by one of her friends as 'support'.

Her friend has somehow got herself entangled with this guy who she's not really bothered about but she can't get out of it (is it that difficult to just say no) so she's asked Kerry (my friend) to go along so she won't be left alone with him. Since Kerry wasn't keen on the idea of being the gooseberry she's asked me to go along as well to make up a four.

Kerry's dead nice but I'm not really bothered about being in a relationship at the moment cos I only came out of one a few weeks ago. I'll just have to be good. :P

Well, i'm with my boyfriend all day, but then, we do that most days so it's not really anything to get excited about, Heh, oh we are going to the cinema, man how interesting!!

But my boyfriends brother, has only just started seeing this girl, and he's showering her with loads of eh... Stuff... and it's all really sickening, he made a valantines card and drew a picture of her, and at the top it said "this is the girl of my dreams! have you seen her?"

Here is my interesting account of Valentines Day (so far)..

Last Night- Stayed up late watching channel 4 (Futurama and all that)

Then woke up.. at 4pm today, had bowl of Special K in hope that it wil shrink me down in size and I might Actually get a bf this year..

Checked post, no cards, same ole same ole..

Went on Weebl forum to talk to all you nice people.

Oh yeah and later on I plan an exciting weekly shopping trip to ASDA with my parents. wooooo

my day has been pretty ownage tbh.

i woke up at mid-day, hungover and confused, went on irc for a bit, figured out at 3pm it was saturday, and not sunday like i thought, and just shrugged it off. My parents bought me lots of cheap sausages to put in sandwiches for lunch over the week because i'm off college and normally too lazy to do anything, and i've just been lazing around on irc and doing a bit of light gaming. Quite fun really :)

Went to mate's birthday party on friday night, stayed up all night, then went all the way to another mate's house (bout an hour on the tube) til about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, then went all the way back up to home (in norf london) and then fell asleep from about 4.30 til about 10.00 so my body clock is well screwed.

So all in all, twas a pretty fun day, if not insanely tiring.

I don't really take much notice of VD (hehe) as I have never received a card, have never sent a card (apart from jking around with mates) and have never had a gf over Valentines so I tend to just treat it as a normal day.

i had a lovely night, we went to yo! sushi where the food is like men...you wait 10 minutes for a salmon sashimi & then 3 come along all at once.

also went drinking in soho which was nice as its been a while

Night out was ok for me and Kerry. Her friend (Liz) however got herself into a bit of a state.

She was out with this guy (Clement - don't ask!) who likes her alot, but who she only likes as a friend and who she's told this many times but he keeps trying just in case.

Halfway thru the night she gets a call from a guy who she DOES really like (Simon) who says he's on his way up from Bristol and will be there in the hour. Nightmare. Simon showed up and Clement got pushed to the side a little. Naturally he wasn't too chuffed about this and he was a bit miffed for the rest of the night. Then Liz finds out that Simon is actually nuts about someone else and he only sees Liz as a friend so now Liz is stuck with a pissed off Clement who fancies her but can't have her, and she's feeling crap cos the guy she likes doesn't like her.

As you'd guess it all ended in tears (Clem's tears) when her and Clement had a heated discussion and he stormed off back to her house saying he'd be gone in the morning. Liz spent the rest of the evening with Simon, feeling pretty crap about everything.

Other than that me and Kerry had a pleasant evening and met a few nice people. :D
