JoJo of the Pie
23-06-2007, 12:25 PM
Do you like Pie! Then JoJo Pieism, the most Pieist religion around, is for you. At JoJo Pieism we think that I, The JoJo, am the Holy Pie in a human body! Visit our site to declare your alliegence for the Pie at jojo-pieism.tk. There should be a link in my sig as well. Embrace the Pie!
I'd love to, but as of this morning I think I joined SCOG.

Oh shh.
You guys are only teasing him because you wished you created a religion based on pie before he did.
I must agree his initial offer seems rather shit though.
Perhaps some sort of pie salvation is offered with this religion?

Nope, I'm teasing him because he repeated my name twice in the title of a FAIL thread.
Before any twats be all hilarious, I'm refering to the Jo bit, not 'join' nor 'pieism' nor '!'

I actually assumed you'd made the thread when I saw the title, so I was all like "what's with Smartie making a thread like that?" and that's why I'm looking in this thread.

Dudes, play nice now...
And JoJo - welcome to the forums! Here at weebls-stuff we have a number of unwritten rules that govern what is acceptable and what is not. Sometimes it can be really difficult to distinguish what these are, so here's some pro tips...
1. Spend a little time lurking and reading the posts
2. Confine yourself to beginners until you get a bit more of a feel for the flavour of the forums
3. Read the FAQ's
4. Don't be put off by not doing so well or not being warmly received - we're not always great at helping new people - some of us can actually be pretty awkward around noobs - I guess we're just a bit shy!
And above all, please don't take offence at me offering a helping hand. I'd love for you to stay and contribute to the community, but this can be a harsh, unforgiving place and I'm hoping that a few kind words from me will save you from a lot of flaming from those less considerate.
If you want to chat about this, feel free to PM me ( click on my name on the left there and select the "send a private message to faragher" option") and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Jo is such a lesbionic name. Not meaning it in a bad way...it just is!

Not really much i can do about that!
Thanks Dad!
(My mum wanted to call me a different name - she lost so that's my [undisclosed] middle name)
we think that I, The JoJo, am the Holy Pie in a human body!
This is the point where my suspension of disbelief was lost. I mean, I will worship a pie if there is some reason or some decent systems of belief behind it but I will never worship any pie in human form just willy nilly.
I'm sticking to non-jojo pieism for now, thanks.

Smartie I am going to assume your middle name is, like, Dave or something, because that would be a totally awesome thing to call your daughter.

Why worship a pie when you could be eating it instead?
I suppose I should try and be nice really, so I'll just say that making threads or posting posts about your website or forum is frowned upon. However, putting a discreet link in your sig is acceptable, and works for most people.

You guys are only teasing him because you wished you created a religion based on pie before he did. There are clearly far better uses of my time. Despite pie being clearly a good thing, it's not quite worth my worship.
That said, I was once a member of a lunatic Cult of online MMORPG rejects, whose symbol was possibly only slightly less random than a pie (related, though). I would say more, but someone might steal the concept and use it as their own.
It's honestly that brilliant.
