Well, I've boorked up again, so lets see if anyone can help me.
Yesterday, i was in my bed, watching the fresh prince on my laptop. (The laptop was located on my desk.)
It was quite late, and i fell asleep, without turning the laptop off. I woke up, and it was turned off. Now, it doesn't turn on, and when i insert the power cable, the charge light doesn't come on.
Does anyone know what the problem is/could be?
Thanks in advance.

I would say overheating, but it would be significant overheating for it to not turn on or charge again...

That would imply such overheating that it completely melted, which is unlikely.

I've had a similar problem before. Managed to sort it by taking out the battery, plugging in the mains and switching it on. Once it was all booted I stuck the battery back in and it started charging again.

Not a guaranteed fix, just something that has sorted it for me before.

I tried that, didn't work. Thanks though.

Not particularly old, maybe 2-3 years.
