I'm just wondering, why do a number of custom built sites have .tk at the end? is it a free prefix, or is it just the cheapest webdomain?

It's the domain of the island tokelau(sp) who originally offered free domain redirectors (IE it directs to webspace rather than having it's own webspace). They now make a tidy profit by displaying ads :p If you want one, go to http://www.dot.tk.

they did have some problems a while back, but they seem to be fixed now (error 504 msgs etc)

The only problem I've found from .tk is auto login not working for my forums.

Apart from that it's fine.
