yes, I am bored. And since the other polls didn't quite deliver, i'll try.
also: Heavy as in anything with a heavy touch. Metal, Punk, Hard Rock etc.
Light as in Pop, Guitar pop, Dance etc... you know... light, and bright! ^_^
Slow as in the meaning where the tempo is under, lets say 100 bpm
Fast as in the meaning where the tempo is over the same amount; 100 bpm

Look, I don't want to come across as just blatently flaming you, but this is possibly the worst thread ever made.
I would struggle to find someone who doesn't like, to some degree, all of those music types, and to classify things that broadly is like asking if we like bands with male or female band members better. Hell, even that's not a good example, because there's vague potential for debate in that statement. You'll never find anyone who's all FAST HEAVY 4 LYFE YO or LIGHT FAST ROXXX FUK SLOW HEAVY MANN.
This is just awful, and I've even gone to the trouble of explaining why. That's how awful it is.
EDIT: I just voted, and I was spectacularly unsurprised to see Fast Heavy winning. I think I might be hitting my head against a wall here.

This thread is indeed terrible.

No no. you kind of misunderstood the thread.
What type of music hits you in the bolloc?
I admit that we all listen to, to some degree, all of them, but what combination is the win?
Heck, even I was a fan of the sugarbabes as a child, and i have a few songs on my comp at this very minute!
But Fast it has gotta be.
fast and heavy.
That is the way uh huh uh huh I like it.
90's punk, 90's grunge and 90'-2000's Psycho-, Rockabilly it has got to be. <3
If you vote both fast and slow, you are creating an oxymoron. and that's kind of useless. /:

What have I misunderstood, precisely?
You're asking what type of music our favourite is, and the choices we have are all ridiculously broad and utterly useless.
Even if someone does strongly believe that fast, heavy music (whatever that means) is better than all other music, why does this matter? where is the debate there, precisely?

Since I listen to a lot of progressive rock I would say that I like all of these styles of music. Quite often all in the same song. :p

Take it as a lesson, if there are many, many other threads with the same topic, e.g. "What kind of music do you like", try not to go there. I'll give you credit in that at least you thought of original catergories, but the fundamental flaw with these kinds of polls is that they will always fail, as there are so many different genres of music that one simple poll could never cover them all.

And that's why I tried to make this one as simple as possible, and as vast as possible.
though I made a bit of a blooper there with the tempo...
what if the song is presicely 100 pbm...
?

I see what you mean, but 4 catagories is hardly vast is it?

Also, I resent the implication that dance music is "light"
Some dance music is incredibly heavy, not to mention some of it can be downright dirty stuff.

Why did you have to inflict it on others?
