Now, Quackinator, I didn't raise you to be a pirate! No, I raised you to be a Viking, and you know what a Viking does when he's looking for literary excerpts?
He goes pillaging in the Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0061020648/ref=sib_dp_pt/102-6155636-9776144#reader-link)s!

I don't want to have to pay for it! It's only homework.
haha! Paying for things? A laughable concept. Get back to the 1950s, Fraek.

I would assume that if you were doing a piece of work on the book, you'd have it?

He probably just wants one he can copy and paste text from, rather than having to type out extracts.
Lazy, though.

Buy your copy down at yonder bookshop. And while you're at it, get Men at Arms, Feet of Clay, Jingo, The Fifth Elephant, Night Watch, and Thud.
That will be all.

Get Small Gods as well. And Mort. And Reaper Man.

Also get Moby-Dick by Herman Melville, as it is supposedly the greatest piece of literature ever to be conceived by man.
yeah, I don't think he's looking for suggested reading here.

Bathroom stalls make for good reading, most of the time.

He really isn't. I really like some of the books, he has great characters and decent stories, but his writing style is horrible. It's lazy and overblown and slightly pompous.
I always find his fans to be kinda smug.

Yep. End of. Your opinion is always right and we should never disagree with you. Sorry for even having an opinion on the fact that he basically recycles all his books. The amount of times I have read the exact same joke in more than 2 or three of his books is, quite frankly, irritating. Compared to actual good writers, being funny just isn't enough. Actually I don't even find him that funny anymore.

It's pretty hard to write over 30 books and not have the same thing crop up in more than one, especially if it's a funny thing that sticks in your mind.
I've got a signed Wintersmith too, not personalised though as I couldn't make the signing. I'm running out of shelf space for them all now. :p
How long are the required extracts Quackinator?

Oops, sorry, guess I didn't think how best to phrase that. No offence ment, honest. But I do find him very funny.
