That will work with this spec:

Intel Core Duo 2 CPU 4300 , 1.80GHZ (2 CPUs), 800MHZ FSB
1GIG RAM,

Has to be a 16x PCI-E . Looking for anything that actually comes with a power cable so I can hook it up to my power supply. Max I can spend really is around £120, but would prefer something a bit cheaper than can run games on decentish graphics.

Oh yeah, and running Windows Vistarrrrr.

I'd say an Nvidia 8600GT or 8600GTS. You can get them for about £100 and £130 respectively.

This is a pretty decent card so I hear:

(out of stock on that site though)

Here's their cheaper GT version of it:

I doubt there's much difference between the two really.

I was gonna get a 8600, but when I did a search for it on google, it didn't spring up that many good reviews.

Im assuming you've got a power supply to handle it, though you may as well check to be sure. Older power supplies don't like power hungry new cards.
Could you give specifics on what amps ratings of 12v 5v etc written on the side of the power supply?
Just taking a pic of it would be easiest.

The problem with opening it up is that the computer itself has been bought for someone other than me as a present, which complicates me going in and dicking around with it, as I usually do when given the access to somethings innards (fnar fnar). The computer itself was bought less than two days ago, and the reason I'm looking for a graphics card as the one that the computer came with is an onboard piece of rubbish that I'm going to upgrade so they can play whatever silly games they want on it.

So I'd guess that the power supply is pretty new, and wouldn't have troubles handling a graphics card as long as it isn't stupidly omega turbo brilliant.

And I'm probaly going to go for the Nvidia 8600GT. Grim, if you could get back to me on whether it'd work with a brand new power supply (pretty much) it'd be appreciated.
